Foods for screen gazers

In present times, everybody is a screen gazer. We spend more time looking at our mobiles than anything else. We do this at the cost of our eyesight. Here are some foods for a healthy eyes:-

Nuts and legumes

Nuts contain a high level of vitamin E, which protects our eyes from age-related damage. Walnuts, brazil nuts, lentils, cashews, etc. protect us from eye damage.

Water

Watching the screen for a long time results in dry eyes. To prevent this, a lot of water has to be consumed.

Carrots

Carrots are the most popular dish for maintaining good eyesight. Carrots are a rich source of vitamin A and beta carotene. They protect the surface of the eye from various infections.

Citrus fruits

Oranges, grapes and lemons have vitamin C, which may reduce the risk of cataracts and macular degeneration.

Leafy greens

Leafy greens like spinach, kale and broccoli contain lutein and zeaxanthin, which promote vision and the health of the retina.

Sweet potatoes

Like carrots, sweet potatoes are also a rich source of vitamin E and beta carotene.
